9-1-1 Industry Alliance
The 9-1-1 Industry Alliance ("9IA") was established in December 2005 by a group of prominent industry leaders. The vision of the organization's founders is that 9IA will play an important role as the voice of industry companies on major public policy issues, and that the expertise of industry leaders can assist public policymakers and government emergency communications professionals as complex choices are made regarding advanced 9-1-1 alternatives in the years ahead.

Intrado
Intrado is the leading provider of 911 database management for the public safety market and incumbent Local Exchange Carriers (ILECs), Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs) and VoIP Carriers. E9-1-1 Institute
The E9-1-1 Institute is an active public policy organization in Washington D.C that works with Congress and the industry to raise awareness of 911 issues at the FCC and with other policy makers. RedSky works closely with this organization to educate its constituencies about the challenges of providing E911 protection in multi-line telephone systems and makes recommendations for consistent policymaking.

Standards Committees

IETF
The Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution and smooth operation of the Internet and its architecture. The mission of the IETF is to produce high quality, relevant technical and engineering documents including protocol standards and best practices that influence the way people design, use, and manage the Internet in such a way as to make the Internet work better. RedSky participates in IETF working groups focusing on the standards and protocols for IP-based Emergency Calling including the Session Initiation Protocol SIP) Working Group (WG), the Geographic Location/Privacy (GEOPRIV) WG, and the Emergency Context Resolution with Internet Technologies (ECRIT) WG. By participating in the IETF, RedSky gains early insight and influence on the developing standards that may impact the functionality of our E911 solutions for our enterprise and service provider customers.

ATIS
The Alliance for Telecommunications Solutions (ATIS) is a United States based body that is committed to rapidly developing and promoting technical and operations standards for the communications and related information technologies industry worldwide using a pragmatic, flexible and open approach. Over 1,100 industry professionals from more than 350 communications companies actively participate in ATIS. ATIS develops standards and solutions addressing a wide range of industry issues in a manner that allocates and coordinates industry resources and produces the greatest return for communications companies. ATIS is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

ATIS/ESIF
ATIS/ESIF is the primary venue for the telecommunications industry, public safety and other stakeholders to generate and refine both technical and operational interconnection issues to ensure life-saving E9-1-1 services are available for everyone in all situations. ESIF enables many different telecommunications entities to fully cooperate and interconnect with each other to determine the best practices and solutions necessary to effectively and promptly deploy E9-1-1 services nationwide. ESIF's mission is to provide a forum to facilitate the identification and resolution of both technical and operational issues related to the interconnection of wireline, wireless, cable, satellites, and Internet networks and emergency services networks. RedSky is an active member of ATIS/ESIF, especially its Next Generation Emergency Services (NGES) Working Group to ensure that our products are in line with new technology protocols and standards.
